1. About this policy
This policy describes the information processed when you browse NTprep, create an account or use practice and test features. NTprep is an independent NEET UG preparation platform.
2. Account information
If you use email/password or Google sign-in, Firebase Authentication processes the credentials and account details needed to authenticate you. NTprep does not receive or store your account password in its own application database.
3. Practice and test activity
The current practice interface creates a random browser identifier and stores it in your browser’s local storage. Test-start requests use this identifier with the NTprep API, which stores attempt data in the connected Cloudflare D1 database. At present, this browser identifier is not the same as your Firebase account ID; signing in does not automatically synchronise anonymous test history between devices.
4. Browser storage and offline features
NTprep uses browser storage for the local practice identifier and may use service-worker caches to make supported website resources available more quickly or offline. You can clear site data from your browser settings, but doing so may remove locally stored identifiers and cached resources.
5. Third-party services
Authentication is provided by Firebase. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and practice data requests are served by a Cloudflare Worker connected to D1. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Children and account use
Students should use the platform with appropriate parent or guardian guidance where required. Do not enter sensitive personal information into practice answers or support messages.
7. Changes and questions
This policy may be updated as account, data and support features change. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made. Please review this page periodically.
